Got a good deal lined up, there's no warranty because they had to register is last year and I don't think I can get them to cover anything and even if I could I'd be buying out of state.
$9999 for a SE

I feel like you shouldn't have to pay the full $750 for freight and set up if there are scrapes from said process. Tell them you'll pay half of that and the $9999 price.

11.5 is still a great price for a new 14r. crying out loud I paid that for my 08 back in 08!
Agree on the shipping a little. Tell them you want fairings replaced.......maybe
don't sour the deal.
Figure the price of new fairings/fuel tank (not that you would buy these items) to restore to brand new. If that is over a thousand, you're getting up into the price of a 14r in pristine condition. you can find a pristine crated 14r that is a year old for 12k OTD.
maybe you should get 500 anyway for delivery damage.
I guess it depends on how many other 14rs you've seen with 0 miles for 12k$ and how hard you've been looking. Probably looked pretty hard if you are checking out bikes from out of state.

DO LOOK THE BIKE OVER WITH A MAGNIFYING GLASS!
They dropped my busa because they had some dumshits truck it from Minnesota. Just incredibly stupid people. They would not let me Uhaul it myself. Actyally, that might be stroke of luck because then they would have to replace the twice damaged fairings.

I wouldn't buy an out of state bike again unless it was crated.
Sorry, great price but I am getting less enthused about this as I look at the whole picture. You have not seen this bike in person??
I had to put money down to get the bike trucked in I never saw and they dropped it. Another risk. You don't buy they keep your 2 thou earnest money.

ANY damage they need to either replace,or take cash off.If they won't do that, walk. It's 4 years old.Scrapes are unacceptable. While you're at it,I'd also make sure the mileage is...ZERO.If not,it's 'used'.(except of course for a check ride...which would be VERY SHORT mileage. The guy says 'shippers scraped it'...you sure someone didn't lay it down?Where are these scrapes?Tips of the levers(also tip of bar end)..Lower body fairing at that small convex bump?Scrapes on muffler?Scrape on footpeg?I'd find out.
"there's no warranty because they had to register is last year"...so they wait THIS long to register it?Why is that.Something doesn't sound right. It SHOULD still have the factory warranty,1 year/12K miles.IF it's brand new.Right?...No warranty, scrapes. This sounds like someone dropped it.
